Heathrow Rail Connections with Expansion

Between now and 2032, a raft of improvements including Crossrail, Western Rail Access, HS2 access via Old Oak Common and Southern Rail Access are either planned or proposed to make it easier and quicker to get to Heathrow by rail.

This will create fully integrated transport hubs at the proposed Heathrow West (T5 and T6), pictured, and Heathrow East (an expanded Terminal 2), within the airport’s expansion plans.

It’s estimated the trains per hour to Heathrow will double, and seat capacity almost treble with these upgrades during this time.
