Rescue Efforts for Turkish Airlines Aircraft in Kathmandu
The Turkish Airlines plane skidded off the runway and veered onto the grassy shoulder during landing at the TIA on Wednesday morning. Flight TK726 from Istanbul was carrying 224 people when it ploughed into the grassland on the left side of the runway at Kathmandu’s fog-covered airport at 7:45am.

British Airways’ Boeing 777 gets a Makeover by Chinese Designer Masha Ma
A British Airways 777-200 aircraft is painted with bespoke artwork by Chinese fashion designer Masha Ma, to celebrate the GREAT Festival of Creativity in Shanghai. The design, which is an East-meets-West fusion of styles and cultural symbols, took British Airways’ engineering team over 2472 man-hours and 186 individual stencils to apply.
