Abu Dhabi Airport Midfield Terminal – Recent Developments

Watch the latest developments of the two main airfields’ projects which significantly contribute to the completion of the Midfield Terminal Building at Abu Dhabi Airport.

The first one is the Automatic Passenger Mover (APM), the light rail system that will move the passengers between the current terminals and the Midfield Terminal Building.

The second shows the start of the second phase of the airside road tunnel, which requires moving half million cubic meters of earth between the current airport terminals and the Midfield Terminal Building!

Great progress is being made on both projects, the timing of which is critical to ensure the operational team can commence readiness trials for the whole facility.
