Virgin America launches a new, higher resolution, capacitive touch in-flight entertainment system:

Red Beta.

The design is simple, intuitive to use and reflects a brand-forward look mirrors our recently re-designed website.

The system features Panasonic EcoV2 monitors and is built on Android-based software that allows us to make faster improvements in the short-term to our in-flight entertainment platform – and in the long-term, will make it possible for us to further connect, personalize and expand Red in entirely new ways.
